On December 10th, 2013, Standard & Poor’s upgraded Multiplan's corporate credit rating from "BBB-" to "BBB" on the global scale, with a stable outlook. The credit-rating agency reaffirmed the Company's rating on three occasions: August and December 2014 and July 2015.
On September 10th, 2015, together with the country's rating outlook revision, S&P changed Multiplan's credit rating from "BBB" to "BBB-", with negative outlook.
On Februrary 17th, 2016, S&P reviewed many ratings Brazilians companies, after downgraded Brazil’s rating again. On global scale Multiplan’s rating was downgraded from “BBB-“ to “BB+”. The credit-rating agency assessed that Multiplan’s rating is a notch above Brasil’s rating on the global scale.
On Februrary 17th, 2016, due to the country’s rating review, S&P downgraded Multiplan’s rating from “brAAA” to “brAA+”.
On August 25th, 2016, the credit-rating agency Fitch Ratings ("Fitch") assigned to Multiplan a AAA(bra) corporate rating on national scale with stable outlook, the highest credit rating assigned by the institution.
